Hey.
Procrastination is a problem almost all people deal with, including myself.
It sounds completely strange but I’ve only found one way that works almost all the time to break through it. It relates to something I discovered when I was 8 years old.
When I was younger I used to have trouble sleeping almost every night. I would just sit in bed and stare at the ceiling. Then one Christmas eve I decided to intentionally stay up all night long…I was asleep in minutes that night.
I realized when I tried to stay awake I quickly fell asleep instead. I used this tactic many nights to fall fast asleep. I just stared at the wall and told myself to stay awake the challenge of it would make me drowsy and I would nod off.
I’ve used this same tactic to end procrastination.
Next time there is something you know you need to do- like write some content, make some calls, find affiliates, etc. simply tell yourself that you are absolutely forbidden from doing that task for a set period of time…a day, a week, a few hours. Amazingly, I find when I do this I am so anxious to be able to do the “forbidden task” that I immediately jump into it once the time has expired.
It’s bizarre reverse-psychology. Even though I KNOW what I’m doing it still works on me…maybe you too.
Strange but effective.

I'm going to try this. Every time I make a plan or schedule or post a reminder to do something, for some reason, that thing gets lost, forgotten, put aside rarly to be thought of again.
